McKenzie Study Center (MSC), the biblical-studies institute of Gutenberg College, is a Christian ministry to college students and the community at large that seeks to promote an accurate understanding of the Bible’s teaching, conformity to that truth, and uncompromised commitment to biblical Christianity as a philosophy of life.
MSC sponsors a variety of activities, which are not part of the Gutenberg curriculum. Gutenberg students are welcome but not required to participate in these extracurricular activities. For example, MSC offers classes on a variety of topics related to understanding the biblical worldview. Offerings have included: Offerings have included: "Biblical Christianity 101," "A Biblical Perspective on Sexuality and Relationships," "An Exegetical Look at Galatians," "Church History," "Does Christianity Have Anything To Say About environmental Ethics?" and "What is Truth?" MSC is committed to providing a safe place for honest and open inquiry into life’s big questions (Who is God? What does it mean to be human? How does one’s faith relate to various aspects of life?) toward the end that each person’s faith will be biblical, true, and rational.

Art Project, the arts institute of Gutenberg College, exists (1) to promote an understanding of the biblical worldview among those whose encounter with the arts has raised personal and vocational questions and (2) to encourage artists to pursue their artmaking in a manner that embodies the biblical vision of life.
The role of Art Project in the life of Gutenberg College is threefold:
- to provide Gutenberg College students with extracurricular activities to help them grow in their understanding and appreciation of the arts,
- to sponsor art events as a way to serve the larger community and raise public awareness of Gutenberg College and its institutes, and...
- to serve as an organization through which people who create or appreciate art can acquire biblical perspectives on artmaking.
Art Project sponsors a variety of activities, including art shows in the Puccinelli Art Gallery, concerts, and an annual art conference. Gutenberg students are welcome but not required to participate in these activities.
